Facebook has released an official app that allows users to chat with their facebook friends without going to website. This is a desktop app which lets you use Facebook without being on www.facebook.com. This app is only available for the users who are using windows 7 on their system.
After the installation of the app, you can login with your facebook account and chat with your facebook friends. you can log in and log out by right-clicking the Facebook icon in the your Windows system tray:
After clicking on [X] or close, the app will minimize and run in background. You will still get notification for all incoming chats.
This app do not support group chat or video calls. You can only chat with individual users.
