Oppo has announced its latest selfie phone Oppo F5 at an event in Mumbai. This phone also follows the recent full screen 18:9 display trend.
Oppo F5 comes with 6-inch 18:9 FHD+ full-screen 2.5D curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) with ColorOS 3.2.
The phone is Powered by 2.5GHz Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P23 16nm processor with 800MHz ARM Mali G71 MP2 GPU. It comes in two variants, 4GB RAM with 32GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB.
Oppo F5 comes with 16 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and f/1.8 aperture. It also has the 20-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1/2.8″ sensor. It uses smart AI to give you good selfie shots. Oppo AI Beauty recognition technology makes OPPOF 5 a unique selfie camera. It captures a real face by recognizing real skin tone with beauty marks. It also captures the selfie with bokeh effect.
It also has a Fingerprint sensor located on the back. It also has face unlock feature to quickly unlock the phone.
Connectivity features of the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS + GLONASS. It packs 3200mAh battery.
OPPO F5 comes in Black and Gold colors.It is priced at Rs. 19,990 for the 4GB RAM with 32GB storage version and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version costs Rs. 24,999. The low-end version will be available starting November 9 and high-end variant will be available starting from December 2nd.
