Ravtek Extreme Review

Ravtek is a new brand and Ravtek Extreme wireless earphone is its first product in India. I recently got to know about this and decided to try it. It is an in-ear type Bluetooth earphones designed for sports activities. I have been using Ravtek Extreme for more than a week now and here is the review of Ravtek Extreme Sports earphones.

Ravtek Extreme comes with solid build quality. Earbuds are big and also got ear hooks. The flexible ear hook ensures that earbuds remain on your ears and never slip out. It won’t slip out of your ear even if you are running or performing any heavy exercise. You also get three sizes of ear tips to provide you the best fit.

It has three buttons on the right earbud. Buttons are easy to reach and you can easily identify them. Buttons also offer tactile feedback. The middle button is to turn it on, play or pause song and answer or end call. The + button is to increase volume and long-press skips to next track. The – button is to decrease the volume, skip to the previous track and reject the call if you don’t want to answer. There’s also a tiny notification light at the inner side of the right ear earbud. The same earbud has a micro USB port on the bottom side that is used to charge this earphone.

The quality of the cable is also impressive and it doesn’t tangle. It is IP X7 rated for being sweat proof. So, you can keep using it during workouts or in light rain.

Ravtek Extreme impresses in build quality and it can also survive accidental drops. It also doesn’t put much pressure on ears, so you can keep using it for longer without any issue.

The earphone is too large to carry in the pocket, so you won’t find it comfortable keeping it in the pocket. You can also not let it hang around your neck because it lacks the magnetic lock. The good thing is that it comes with a carry case. You can keep your earphone and charging cable both in the case to carry.

Tech Specs

Music experience of Ravtek Extreme is excellent. It is louder than I expected. If you like loud music, it’s a treat. This earphone offers high-quality sound output with rich bass. The company has focused on offering a quality music experience. Highs and high mids are also boosted. So instruments stand out a little bit. Vocals also remain clear in all kinds of songs. Even at the loudest volume level, the sound quality remains good. Indian consumers want good bass and if you are also one of those, You will love the bass experience on this earphone.

It offers proper isolation from the outer environment and no noise from outside can interrupt your experience even if you are listening to music on half volume level.

Sound leakage can be a minor issue but only when the sound is on full volume.

There’s also a microphone for hands-free calls and it also performs well. Even if you are in a crowded place, you will be audible to the other side. You can accept or reject calls using the control buttons of this earphones. When your phone rings, it also tells you the phone number of the caller. so you don’t need to take out the phone for checking who’s calling

I tested this earphone with Android and iPhone. It works perfectly and offers excellent music experience.

Not just in music, this earphone also impresses in battery life. It offers around 12 hours of battery backup that is really hard to find in any other earphone of this segment.

Ravtek Extreme offers high-quality music experience, comes with the solid build quality and offers a long battery life. Indian people like good bass and this earphone satisfies their need.
