POCO has revamped its design approach with the X7 Pro. It is moved away from the large rectangular camera found in POXO X6 Pro to a more modern vertical pill-shaped module. The phone has a plastic construction with a glossy finish and the dual-tone design looks good. The front panel has Gorilla Glass 7i to protect it from scratches. The phone also has very bezels to offer an immersive viewing experience. There’s a hole punch at the top for the selfie camera.

Images are crisp and full of detail, with no noticeable noise in the shadows or highlights. The HDR processing works well to balance bright skies and darker subjects. While the primary camera handles low-light conditions relatively well, it tends to soften details in very dim environments. Night mode improves the situation by enhancing brightness and reducing noise
The selfie camera also captures sharp, detailed, and natural-looking selfies. The results are impressive, particularly in well-lit environments. Front camera recording is limited to 1080p 30fps and it is sufficient for video calls and good quality vlogs. It also has good stabilization for smooth video recording from the front camera. The camera app also has a built-in teleprompter to help video creators. There’s also a director mode that provides pro controls for video recording. Something video creators will love to try.

POCO X7 Pro supports dual 5G SIMs, making it future-ready. It also has Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3 support. NFC support is also there for contactless payments and quick pairing with compatible devices.
The smartphone packs a 6,550mAh silicon-carbon battery that can easily offer two days of battery backup in normal usage and more than a day of backup even if you use it heavily. It supports 90W fast charging and the good thing is that you get the adapter in the box. It charges to 38% in just 15 minutes and reaches to 80% in 35 minutes. The full charge takes around 44 minutes. That’s impressive. Not only does the phone offer a long battery life, it charges quickly giving you peace of mind.
