Design
The Letv Bluetooth Speaker has the cylindrical shape which is something different than other Bluetooth speakers available. At top side, it has a big button and that is the only button it has. It is used to turn it on/off and turn on/off the Bluetooth. The base of the speaker has rubber coating for better grip.
At one side, it has a microUSB port which is used to charge this speaker. It also comes with a microUSB cable. The overall body also has the rubber like feeling but with plastic material. It gives good grip.
In terms of design, it looks awesome and does not feel like a cheap Bluetooth speaker.
The weight of the speaker is just 318 grams and dimensions are 10 x 16.5 x 8 cm. So, this product is easy to carry. It also comes in four different colors – Orange, Blue, Pink, and Black. But, I got this pink one.
Performance
Not just looks, performance is also fine. It offers good quality music experience. Even on loudest volume, it is fine. The sound is crisp and clear. Trebles are also fine. It is also not too loud as compared to other speakers in the similar price segment, but what is the point of that much of loudness which starts producing buzzing noise. So, I feel this speaker is fine enough with its audio loudness range. Yes, I felt that Base effect could be better.
It offers Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. So, you can connect it with different devices including smartphone, laptops, and other which allows Bluetooth connectivity. There is nothing complicated in connecting it with the mobile phone.
As there are minimal physical options on speaker, you will have to use the mobile phone to control music and volume. But that single button still allows you to play and pause the song. To turn it on or off, long press the same key.
You can also receive calls with this button. As it comes with a mic, you can also use it for calling.
Battery
In Portable Bluetooth speakers, battery backup is an important thing to consider while buying. It is packed with 1200 mAh battery which is capable enough to give you around 10 hours of playback. With 5V charger, it takes around 2 hour in fully charging.
