Buds feature good design and fit properly. You get two extra pairs of ear tips. Most people will find default ear tips comfortable. The length of buds is longer than all the buds I used in the past and a few people may find it awkward. Buds are also IPX4 rated to offer splash resistance and sweat resistance. So, you can keep using it while running and doing intensive workouts.

Like other true wireless earbuds, Crossbeats Enigma buds also feature touch controls to control music, tracks, and calls. You can also activate the phone’s voice assistant. Most buds feature similar touch gestures but Crossbeats Enigma has different touch gestures. Use the manual to understand how to control music, tracks, and calls. The touch area is sensitive and responds to each action you perform.

The charging case comes with the good build quality. It has a tiny LED notification light and a Type-C port for charging. When you open the case, you see two buds and a Reset button. The charging case also supports wireless charging. If you have a wireless charger, just put the case on the wireless charger to charge it. As soon as you open the charging case, buds will pair to the previously connected smartphone.

Crossbeats Enigma Buds pack powerful 13 mm sound drivers that impress with their music quality. It offers a clear sound where you can feel each beat. Buds are tuned to offer balance stereo music. Even at the loudest volume level, buds sound good. Buds also feature noise cancellation with three different modes including Normal, Ambient, and Active Noise Cancelling. Double-tap on the left earbud to switch through these modes. These modes work as advertised. Active Noise-canceling mode isn’t as good as in high-end buds but it really blocks most noise around.

Buds also feature mono mode. So, you can use a single earbud if you want. Just take one bud out of the charging case and music will be played on this single bud. Buds do not feature wear detection. If you don’t pause the song and take earbuds out of your ears, it will still keep playing songs. It also features low latency So, you can also use it for gaming and online streaming where you don’t want any delay in sound.

Each bud features three microphones to properly capture your voice and reduce noise. So, you get excellent call quality. Even if you are in a crowded place, your voice will be clear on the other side.

Crossbeats Enigma

I tried Crossbeats Enigma with iPhone, Android phone, MacBook Air, and Windows laptop. I didn’t find any issue with connectivity. It features Bluetooth 5.2 for falser and stable pairing. As soon as I open the charging case, it automatically pairs with my phone.

Fully charged buds offer around 4 hours of music playback. It may further drop if you actively use ANC or ambient sound mode. With the charging case, you can easily get over 20 hours of music playback. That’s impressive. Good thing is that the charging case also supports wireless charging.

Wrap Up

Crossbeats Enigma is an impressive pair of earbuds offering good music and excellent battery backup. ANC works well and I am also happy with the build quality. If you are looking to buy a good earbud, you can consider buying this one. It is priced at Rs. 4999. In this segment, it competes against realme Buds Air Pro and OPPO Enco W51.
