Boult Klarity 1 review

Boult Klarity 1 comes with a compact charging case that has a design mix of glossy and matte. The case looks good and has a solid design. There’s an LED light at the front and a Type-C port at the bottom for charging. The charging case is small enough to fit easily into your pocket.

Buds have the classic in-ear design and pill-shaped stems to look different. The company says that buds feature a liquid metal procranium design. I am not sure what exactly is that. It feels plastic with a glossy finish. There’s a tiny LED notification light on each bud. Buds certainly look good and feel premium. Buds are lightweight and fit comfortably in the ear. You also get extra ear tips to get a comfortable fit.

The earbuds feature touch-sensitive controls on the outer surface to control music, volume, and calls. Touch controls are responsive and work well.

The IPX5 water resistant makes buds good for daily use. Buds are also comfortable enough for all-day usage.

Buds pack 13mm Rich Bass Drivers. The sound quality of the Klarity 1 is impressive for the price. The Klarity 1 has a strong bass response, which is noticeable in most genres of music. The good thing is that it doesn’t overpower the other frequencies. The midrange is clear and detailed, but it can sometimes sound a bit recessed compared to the bass and treble. The treble is bright and crisp, with good detail and definition. However, it felt harsh in certain tracks, especially at higher volumes. While The Boult Klarity 1 might not offer the same level of detail as more expensive options, it provides a satisfying listening experience. Be it the music, movies, or gaming, buds sound good. It is also important to note that Klarity 1 lacks active noise cancellation, so it may not be the best choice for noisy environments.

The earbuds are also suitable for gaming. The Combat Gaming mode reduces latency to 45ms for enhanced gaming.

Buds also feature a quad-mic setup with ENC for calling. I really found it good for calling. It delivers exceptional voice clarity.

Bluetooth 5.4 ensures fast pairing and stable connection. Another impressive feature is dual device pairing. So, you can keep it connected with two devices and seamlessly switch between them.

Klarity 1 promises up to 80 hours of battery life. However, I was getting around 55 hours of total playback time. There’s also support for fast charging that promises 3 hours of playtime with just 10 minutes of charging in the case.

Verdict

Boult Klarity 1 is a solid choice for those looking for a budget-friendly pair of true wireless earbuds. They offer good sound quality, a comfortable fit, dual pairing, and good battery life. If you are not looking for the absolute best audio quality, the Klarity 1 is a great option to consider. At Rs. 1300, Boult Klarity 1 is a good value for money.
