The boAt BassHeads 100 is a budget earphone. Recently I bought it to test and check how well this performs. I have used it for a week and here is my review of boAt BassHeads 100.

The boAt BassHeads 100 is in-ear type earphone. Its earbuds have Hawk inspired design and looks really good. You also get two pairs of separate ear tips. So, check all to get the perfect fitting. It fits properly and never comes out of ears automatically.
It also has in-line microphone and a button to play/pause music or receive/end calls. You can also move to next track by pressing the button twice. The company also claims that three clicks on the button moves to previous track but it never worked for me. It has a long free wire of about 4 feet and it feels to be of good quality.

Before talking about the performance, let me remind you the price again. It is being sold for less than Rs. 500. Sound is loud and clear. Unlike the name claims, bass is not good but tracks doesn’t play flat. You can feel slight bass and that is fine for a earphones of this bass. On loudest volume, the volume becomes bit hoarse and you can feel is even more on certain kinds of songs. High and mids are also satisfactory. So overall, everything feels good.

It also has a microphone for hands-free calling. It works good but not like an HD microphone as the company claims. It is also fine and captures less noise. I feel that its distance from the mouth could have been lesser to improve the audio capture.

Final Words
This budget earphone performs better than my expectation. It is a basic earphones offering value for money performance. If you do not want to spend high on earphones and need a satisfactory earphones for listing to music or having hands-free calls, Boat BassHeads 100 will not disappoint.
