Amazon has introduced a new Amazon Prime Lite subscription, which is a cheaper version of regular Prime membership. With Prime Lite, Amazon aims to increase its subscriber base in India. The membership was initially launched for select customers back in January this year, and the company has now made it available to all users. Prime Lite costs Rs 999 for 12 months. In Prime Lite, subscribers will not get Amazon Music access. They will get Amazon Prime Video but with ads.
