Google has finally confirmed that its latest Pixel A series smartphone Google Pixel 7a will e launched in India on May 11. Google India tweeted to confirm the launch date. The tweet includes a blurred render of the phone.

The phone will be sold through Flipkart, just like previous Pixel phones.

Google has scheduled Google I/O 2023 for May 10 and we are expecting more details about the phone on the same day. As per the teaser image, Pixel 7a retails a dual camera setup and will continue to have a similar camera module. It seems Google doesn’t want to experiment with the design. The phone is expected to be priced at $499 in the US. It should be priced at around Rs. 49,999 in India.

The phone is expected to feature 6.1-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, Tensor G2 processor, 8GB of RAM, a new 64MP rear camera along with a 12MP Ultra-wide camera, and 8MP front camera.

Google launched Pixel 6a at Rs. 43,999 and received several price cuts soon after the launch. The phone is now available at Rs. 31,999 and can be purchased at a lower price by using card offers.
