BlueStacks launches free cloud gaming service for mobile games

Popular Android Emulator maker BlueStacks has released BlueStacks X, a free cloud-based gaming streaming service for Android games.

BlueStacks X is powered by hybrid cloud technology. This technology enables the cloud to offload parts of computing and graphics rendering to the endpoints. The hybrid cloud technology is built in partnership with Now.gg, BlueStacks’ sister company.

“BlueStacks App Player recently crossed 1 Billion lifetime downloads. BlueStacks X is a natural next step for us. Hybrid cloud is a big technological breakthrough which makes it economically viable to launch the service,” said Rosen Sharma, CEO, BlueStacks Inc. “We are a trusted partner to top mobile game developers. There is a lot of excitement among them about BlueStacks X and some of the other innovations we have like deep Discord integration.”

BlueStacks X is completely free just like BlueStacks. The service is ad-supported, So, you will see ads before you play games.

The service already includes 200 games and all these games are free. The company also promises to add more games on a weekly basis.

BlueStacks X can be accessed on web browsers on iOS, Android, Windows 11, macOS, Chrome OS, and some smart TVs. The company has also released a BlueStacks X native client for Windows.
