At its hardware event, Microsoft also launched a foldable Android phone called Microsoft Surface Duo.

Microsoft Surface Duo has two 5.6-inch screens that unfold to an 8.3-inch tablet. Both the displays are together with a 360° hinge and you can use it in a variety of modes.

It runs on Android with Microsoft Launcher at the top. It will be able to run apps from the Google Play Store. Microsoft will also give developers an API to leverage the foldable space and optimize apps for the device.

The company didn’t provide many hardware details. So, we can’t say what chipset it uses or what kind of camera setup will be there. In the teaser video, there’s no camera setup on the back side. The device target business consumer, so it should have the selfie camera for video calls.

“This product brings together the absolute best of Microsoft, and we’re partnering with Google to bring the absolute best of Android in one product,” Microsoft Product Chief Panos Panay said

Surface Neo will be available during the Holidays of 2020 that is either in November or December next year.
