Today, iBall has announced the cheaper version of its Slide Tablet. According to the company this new iBall Slide i7218 will be cheaper than its its predecessor and will be available on all retail stores for Rs. 11,999.

This tablet is powered by 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor and runs on Android 2.3 mobile operating system.

It has a 7 inches TFT Multi Touch Capacitive screen with resolution of 800X480. It features a 2 mega pixels camera at the back and a front VGA camera for video callings. It comes with 8 GB onboard storage which can be expanded upto 32 GB with microSD card.

This new iBall Slide i7218 also has a full USB port for connecting USB devices. Other features of this tablet includes HDMI port, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G using USB dongle.

This tablet also comes with many pre loaded apps like Facebook, Gmail, Skype, Android Market, News and Weather, Nimbuzz and many more is included.

Although the price of this tablet is lower than its predecessor but this tablet will get tough competition other tablets like Micromax Funbook , HCL Me, Karbonn smart Tab which are cheaper than Slide.
