Gionee launched its flagship device Gionee S8 at MWC 2016 in Barcelona. Not just phone, company has also launched its new logo. This new phone comes with dual WhatsApp support and several exciting features.

Gionee S8 features a 5.5 inch full HD AMOLED display with 3D touch, 2.5D arc glass and Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It runs on Android 6.0 marshmallow with Amigo UI on top of it. It is powered by a 1.95 GHz Octa-core MediaTek HelioP10 processor with Mali T860MP2 GPU and 4 GB RAM.

Internal storage of the phone is 64GB with support to microSD card to expand storage up to 128 GB. It is a dual SIM phone with Hybrid slots. So, you cannot use dual SIM and storage expansion at the same time.

It features 16 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, 6P Lens, RWB technology PDAF and Laser Autofocus. At the front, it offers an 8-megapixels camera.

It features a fingerprint sensor on the home button which claims the response time of 0.1 seconds and identification time of 0.38 seconds. It has DTS audio. This phone has world’s first invisible Antenna design with patented full metal unibody design. It comes with floating window to watch video while watching other apps, dual WhatsApp support for each time and more.

Connectivity features of the phone are 4G LTE with VoLTE, Wi-Fi, 802.11 ac/a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. It is packed with 3000 mAh battery with fast charging.
