Developer Serafini Productions has announced the release date for its upcoming psychological horror game BrokenLore: FOLLOW. The game will launch on June 1 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC via Steam.

BrokenLore: FOLLOW is a first-person psychological horror game that focuses on story and emotional themes. The game follows Anne, a young woman who wakes up in her childhood home. Soon after, she begins to experience strange and disturbing visions connected to her past.

As Anne explores the house and other locations from her life, she encounters surreal versions of old memories and painful experiences. Her journey is guided by a childhood doll that appears to have its own awareness. The doll helps her move through different parts of her past while she struggles with issues related to self-acceptance and self worth.

The story unfolds across seven chapters. Each chapter takes Anne to a different place connected to her childhood and personal history. While revisiting these memories, she is also chased by a terrifying entity that closely resembles her mother. This presence adds tension to the story and forces Anne to confront difficult emotions and past mistakes.

The developers say the game was created with guidance from psychologist Emanuela Papa. This was done to make sure the game handles its sensitive themes in a thoughtful and realistic way.
