Motorola has confirmed that the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will launch in India on March 6. The company shared the launch date through its official social media handle. The smartphone will go on sale via Flipkart after launch.
The announcement comes shortly after Motorola started teasing the device. A dedicated microsite on Flipkart has already revealed most of the key specifications and design details of the upcoming phone.
The Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will be available in three Pantone-curated colors. These are called Silhouette, Blue Surf, and Country Air. All three variants will feature a leather-inspired texture on the back panel. The phone is designed with a premium finish and curved edges.
The phone will feature a quad curved 1.5K display. It will support up to 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5,200 nits peak brightness. Motorola is also offering SGS eye protection certification and HDR10+ support. The screen-to-body ratio is listed at 96.2 percent.
As per the Flipkart listing, the Motorola Edge 70 Fusion will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. The device will pack a large 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. It will support 68W wired fast charging.
The smartphone will come with a triple rear camera setup. Motorola claims it will be the world’s first phone to feature the 50 megapixel Sony LYT 710 primary sensor.
The rear camera unit will also include a 13 megapixel ultra-wide lens and a macro camera. On the front, the device will have a 32 megapixel selfie camera placed inside a hole-punch cutout. The company says the phone will support video recording up to 4K resolution.
