Lava has officially confirmed the India launch date of its upcoming smartphone, the Lava Blaze Duo 3. The device was teased earlier, and the company has now announced that it will launch in India on January 19. The confirmation came through a social media post on X.
Early teasers and retail listings had already hinted at what Lava was working on. The phone will feature a flat back design with a matte finish and rounded corners. It will be available in at least two colour options, including a light off white shade and a black variant.
The secondary display placed next to the rear cameras is the most notable highlight of the phone. This extra screen is built into the camera module, will show alerts, music controls, and camera previews. Similar designs have appeared on other recent phones, but Lava is bringing this feature to a more affordable segment. It already did this in the past with Blaze Duo 5G.
The Blaze Duo 3 uses a rectangular camera island with two large camera rings stacked vertically. A small display and an LED flash sit beside them. Lava has confirmed that the main rear camera uses a 50 megapixel sensor with AI features.
The Lava Blaze Duo 3 will run Android 15 out of the box. It will come with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display and a 1.6-inch secondary rear screen. The phone is expected to pack MediaTek Dimensity 7060 chipset, paired with 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
It will also offer a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. The Blaze Duo 3 is also rated IP64 for dust and splash resistance.
