Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for January, and it includes a wide mix of horror, RPG, racing, and puzzle games. The new titles will be available for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members from January 20.
One of the biggest additions this month is Resident Evil Village. The game continues Ethan Winters’ story and places players in a dark and mysterious village filled with danger. The setting plays a major role, offering both exploration and intense survival horror moments.
Another highlight is Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, the latest game from the Yakuza series. It brings together Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu in a story that moves between Honolulu and Tokyo. The game features turn-based combat, emotional storytelling, and plenty of side activities.
For players who enjoy exploration and vehicles, Expeditions: A MudRunner Game joins the catalog. The game focuses on scientific missions across rough terrain like deserts, forests, and mountains. Players can upgrade vehicles, manage a base, and explore alone or with others.
Horror fans can also check out A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, a single-player game inspired by the popular movie franchise. The story follows a young woman trying to survive after a deadly creature invasion, where silence is critical.
Other notable additions include Darkest Dungeon II, which expands on the original roguelike formula, and The Exit 8, a short but unsettling walking simulator set in an endless underground passageway. Players looking for something lighter can try Art of Rally or the relaxing puzzle game A Little to the Left.
For PlayStation Plus Premium members, Sony is also adding Ridge Racer, the classic arcade racing game from the original PlayStation era, enhanced with modern features like rewind and quick save.
