Epic Games Store has refreshed its daily free game offer, and today’s free title is a co-op puzzle game. PC gamers can now claim We Were Here Together for free and keep it forever once it is added to their library.

The game replaces yesterday’s Disco Elysium The Final Cut giveaway. This new free offer is available only for 24 hours and will end on December 27, when the next mystery game unlocks.

We Were Here Together was developed by Total Mayhem Games and launched in 2019. It is the third game in the We Were Here series. The game focuses fully on cooperative gameplay and is designed to be played by two people.

As a player, you and your partner explore a mysterious world around Castle Rock. Communication is the key part of the experience. Players use walkie-talkies to talk to each other, as the game often separates both players into different areas. Each player sees different clues, and puzzles can only be solved by sharing information and working together.

The story begins with a distress signal from fellow explorers in Antarctica. The two main characters leave their base camp to investigate, only to find themselves pulled into a strange and dangerous journey. The game mixes puzzle solving with a tense atmosphere, making teamwork essential at every step.

We Were Here Together is free to claim on the Epic Games Store for the next 24 hours. The next mystery free game will be revealed on December 27 at the usual daily reset time.

Epic Games has already given away several popular PC games during this holiday event, including Hogwarts Legacy, Bloodstained Ritual of the Night, The Callisto Protocol, and Disco Elysium The Final Cut. The daily giveaway event will continue until December 31, with one free game released each day.
