The budget TWS market is growing fast, and almost every brand is trying to add more features at a lower price. Active Noise Cancellation, long battery life, and big drivers are no longer limited to expensive earbuds. OPPO has now added another option to this crowded space with the Enco Buds 3 Pro Plus, priced at Rs 2,099. I have been using these earbuds as my daily driver for some time, and in this review, I will talk about how they perform in real-world usage and whether they make sense for everyday users.

OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Plus Review
The OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Plus are available in Midnight Black and Sonic Blue colours. I used the blue variant, and it looks fresh and youthful. The charging case has an oval shape with a matte finish. The overall design reminded me a lot of the OnePlus Nord Buds 3, especially the placement of the charging indicator and the USB Type-C port.
Each earbud is very light, and the total weight with the case is also quite low. This makes the earbuds easy to carry in a pocket and comfortable to wear for long hours. I wore them for extended listening sessions without feeling any discomfort.
Fit is one area where these earbuds impressed me. During treadmill workouts and running, they stayed firmly in my ears and never felt loose. This is something I cannot say about some other budget earbuds I have used in the past, like the Boult Klarity 1 or the Mivi SuperPods Opera ANC.
The IP55 rating is another plus. It means the earbuds can handle sweat and light splashes easily, which makes them suitable for workouts and outdoor use.
I am not a big fan of the case finish. It scratches easily, especially if you have long nails. OPPO’s own Enco Buds 3 Pro feels slightly more premium in comparison, even though it also sits in the budget category. Overall, I am impressed with its design and build.
Audio Quality
The OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Plus come with 12.4mm titanium-coated dynamic drivers, and this is clearly reflected in the way they sound. These earbuds are tuned for a lively and engaging sound signature, which most casual listeners usually prefer.
The bass has good depth and punch. It is strong enough to add energy to songs, especially in Bollywood, pop, EDM, and hip-hop tracks, but it does not completely overpower the rest of the sound. Mid-bass is slightly boosted, which gives music a fuller feel, but it does not sound muddy or loose.
The mids are clear and forward enough for vocals to sound natural. Male and female vocals both come through cleanly, and lyrics remain easy to understand even when the bass is active. Instruments like guitars and keyboards do not get pushed into the background, which is something that often happens with budget earbuds.
High frequencies are tuned on the safer side. Treble is present and clean, but it is not sharp or aggressive. This helps during long listening sessions, as the sound never feels tiring or harsh. Details are decent for the price, though audiophiles might find the highs slightly rolled off.
One thing I really liked is the loudness. The Enco Buds 3 Pro Plus get very loud, and you do not need to push the volume to the maximum level. Even at higher volumes, the sound stays controlled and does not distort, which is impressive for this price segment.
You can fine-tune the sound using the HeyMelody app. The app offers three EQ modes, which help you slightly change the sound signature. The options are limited, but they are still useful if you want a small adjustment to the sound.
ANC and Transparency Mode
Getting Active Noise Cancellation at this price is a big deal. The ANC on the OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Plus is not flagship-level, but it does a decent job for the price. It can easily reduce noise from fans, background chatter, and general indoor sounds.
While sitting on my balcony, the ANC helped me focus on music without getting distracted by surrounding noise. However, during travel, especially on a local train, the ANC struggles with constant and loud noise. This is expected in this price segment, so I do not see it as a major drawback.
The Transparency Mode, however, is quite weak. It does not let outside sounds come in clearly. This reduces its usefulness, especially if you want to stay aware of your surroundings without removing the earbuds.
Touch Controls and Connectivity
The Enco Buds 3 Pro Plus use Bluetooth 5.4 and support multi-device connectivity. Switching between my phone and laptop was smooth and hassle-free. I did not have to manually disconnect and reconnect devices.
Touch controls worked reliably, and I did not face any missed taps or delays. Connectivity was also stable throughout my usage. The earbuds connected automatically every time I opened the case, which is not always the case with budget TWS earbuds.
For gaming, the earbuds support a low-latency mode. While playing BGMI with game mode enabled, the audio was well synced with the visuals. This makes them a good option even for casual mobile gamers.
Battery Life
Battery life is one of the strongest points of the OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Plus. OPPO claims up to 28 hours of total playback with ANC on and up to 43 hours with ANC off. On a single charge, you can get up to 8 hours with ANC and up to 12 hours without it.
In my daily usage, I mostly use the earbuds without ANC. I listened to music for around 3 hours on weekdays and about 4 hours on weekends. After a full charge, which took around 1.5 hours, the earbuds easily lasted more than 10 days for me.
Even if you use ANC most of the time and wear the earbuds throughout the day, the battery should still last around 3 to 4 days. That is impressive for this price range.
Final Verdict
The OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Plus offer a very balanced experience. You get loud and punchy sound, decent ANC, excellent battery life, and a comfortable fit. These are features that really matter for daily use, and OPPO has done a good job delivering them at a budget price.
Yes, the Transparency Mode could have been better, and the case design is prone to scratches. If you want stronger ANC or a more premium design, you will need to spend more.
Overall, if you are looking for reliable earbuds under Rs 2,000 for everyday use, the OPPO Enco Buds 3 Pro Plus are definitely worth considering.
