realme has officially launched two new smartphones in India under its Narzo lineup. The new models are the realme Narzo 90x and the realme Narzo 90. Both phones promise strong battery life. The Narzo 90x is aimed at users who want a large screen and long battery life, while the Narzo 90 focuses more on display quality and a slimmer design.
realme Narzo 90x
The realme Narzo 90x comes with a large 6.8-inch HD+ LCD display that supports a 144Hz refresh rate. The screen can reach up to 1200 nits of peak brightness, which should help with outdoor visibility. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and includes VC cooling to manage heat during heavy use. realme is offering up to 8GB of RAM along with dynamic RAM expansion for smoother multitasking.
The Narzo 90x features a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. realme has added AI-based editing features to improve photos without much effort.
It has a single bottom speaker, but realme says it can reach up to 400 percent ultra volume when needed.
Connectivity options are 5G SA / NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and USB Type-C. It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone also carries strong durability credentials, including dust and water resistance and military-grade certification.
The phone packs a large 7000mAh battery. realme claims it can easily last up to two days on a single charge. It supports 60W fast charging and even offers reverse wired charging.
realme Narzo 90
The realme Narzo 90 is a step above in terms of display and design. It features a 6.57-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and high-frequency PWM dimming for eye comfort. The display supports a wide color gamut and higher peak brightness compared to the Narzo 90x.
This phone runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 Max chipset and uses a large vapor chamber cooling system to keep temperatures under control. The phone runs Android 15 with realme UI 6.0 and will receive three Android version updates along with four years of security patches.
Camera hardware includes a 50MP main rear camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor, while the front camera also uses a 50MP sensor. realme has added multiple AI features such as AI Snap Mode, AI Eraser, and AI Landscape to enhance photography.
It has 5G SA/ NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.5GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, and USB Type-C 2.0 connectivity. The phone has an in-display fingerprint sensor and an infrared sensor.
Like the Narzo 90x, this phone also packs a 7000mAh battery with 60W fast charging. realme claims 50 percent charge can be achieved in around 31 minutes. It also comes with a long-term battery health guarantee, promising reliable performance over several years.
Pricing and Availability in India
The realme Narzo 90x starts at Rs. 13,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. With bank offers, the effective price comes down to Rs. 11,999. The 8GB RAM version is priced at Rs. 15,499, with an effective price of Rs. 13,499 after discounts. Sales begin on December 23 through realme’s website and Amazon.
The realme Narzo 90 is priced slightly higher. The 6GB RAM variant costs Rs. 16,999, while the 8GB RAM model is priced at Rs. 18,499. Bank discounts reduce the prices to Rs. 15,999 and Rs. 17,499, respectively. The phone will be available for purchase between December 24 and December 26 on realme.com and Amazon.
