Studio Drydock has released its cozy life and farming game Wylde Flowers for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. The game is priced at USD 24.99. The PC version has also expanded its availability and can now be purchased through the Microsoft Store.
Wylde Flowers was first introduced on Apple Arcade in February 2022. It later arrived on the Nintendo Switch and Steam in September 2022. The new console launch now brings the game to a wider audience.
The game follows the story of Tara, who moves to a small rural island to help her grandmother and take care of the family farm. The setting is warm and relaxing, but it also adds a magical twist. Tara soon discovers a coven and begins learning spells as she tries to uncover a mystery surrounding the town of Fairhaven.
Players can explore beaches, forests, magical realms, and a friendly town filled with fully voiced characters. Each character has a backstory, and the game lets you build friendships or even romance. You can grow vegetables, plant fruit trees and raise animals. As Tara develops her magical abilities, she can use spells to change the weather, switch seasons or even transform into a cat.
The game also lets you cook, craft, mine and fish. There are hundreds of recipes to discover and goods to create. Along the way, players spend time with the coven, learn more about the town, and try to solve the darker mystery affecting Fairhaven.
