The Silent Hill 2 remake is now available on Xbox Series consoles. Konami and Bloober Team have released the game on the Microsoft Store, and it is launching with a big 50 percent discount for a limited time. The PC version is also now available on the Microsoft Store with the same discount.

The remake was first released on PlayStation 5 and Steam in October 2024. It performed well and crossed two million shipments and digital sales by early 2025. As part of Black Friday deals, the PlayStation 5 version is also available at 50 percent off until December 2.

Silent Hill 2 remains one of the most iconic psychological horror games, and the remake brings the classic story back with modern graphics, improved sound, and an over-the-shoulder camera. The developers have expanded the map, enhanced the combat system, and added new atmospheric details to make the experience more immersive.

This is the first time Xbox players can try the remake, and the launch discount makes it a good time to jump in. If you want, I can also write a shorter headline version or add my opinion about the remake’s arrival on Xbox.
