Disney has teamed up with Epic Games to launch Disneyland Game Rush, a special Fortnite Creative island celebrating the 70th anniversary of Disneyland. The limited-time event goes live on November 6 and lets players around the world experience the magic of Disneyland inside Fortnite.
The virtual island recreates a festive Disneyland-inspired hub featuring a replica of the 70th Anniversary sculpture based on Sleeping Beauty Castle. Players can explore landmarks from Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, with a musical background and lighting effects inspired by the real parks.
Disneyland Game Rush includes seven mini-games, each modeled after popular Disneyland attractions. Players can take on missions like sneaking through The Collector’s Fortress in Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Sneak Out!, racing through space in Space Mountain: Rocket Race, or exploring haunted corridors in Haunted Mansion: Scavenger Haunt. Other experiences include Indiana Jones: Tomb Runner, Matterhorn: Slip-and-Climb, Star Wars: Stormtrooper Showdown, and WEB-Slingers: Spider-Bot Blasters.
Each game combines Fortnite’s core gameplay mechanics with a Disney-themed twist, offering challenges that reward players with collectible keys. These keys can unlock exclusive in-game cosmetics based on Disneyland’s 70th anniversary.
Although the event is temporary, it highlights how Epic Games continues to expand Fortnite’s creative ecosystem with brand collaborations that blend entertainment and interactive gaming.
Disneyland Game Rush is now available for all Fortnite players on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS, and Android. Players can jump in solo or with friends to explore, compete, and celebrate seven decades of Disneyland in a brand-new way.
