vivo has officially announced its new vivo Pad5e tablet, alongside the X300 series smartphones. The tablet comes with several premium features, including a high refresh rate display, flagship-level performance, and a large battery
The vivo Pad5e features a 12.1-inch 2.8K LCD display with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate and soft light eye-protection technology to reduce glare and eye strain. It offers a 240Hz touch sampling rate for smooth and responsive interactions. vivo has also focused on multi-device collaboration. The tablet supports cross-ecological multi-screen features, which allows users to control both Windows and Mac systems remotely, view multiple file formats, and even use CAJViewer and PC-level WPS for professional document editing. Notes and course materials taken on a phone can also be directly synced to the Atom Notes app on the tablet.
The tablet is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. It ensures fast multitasking and app performance. It runs on Android 15 with OriginOS 5 for tablets, offering an optimized experience for large screens.
The tablet includes an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for video calls. The tablet also features four speakers and USB Type-C audio for an immersive multimedia experience.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C. It packs a massive 10,000mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.
The tablet will be available in both a Standard Edition and a Soft Light Edition. The Soft Light Edition offers additional eye comfort with reduced reflections. The Standard Edition measures 6.62mm in thickness and weighs 584g, while the Soft Light Edition is slightly thicker and heavier at 6.69mm and 591g, respectively.
