Publisher Top Hat Studios and developer Anji Games have announced that Silly Polly Beast will release in October. The psychological survival action horror game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
The game tells the story of Polly, a high school girl who is forced to confront a terrifying beast. To escape, she must uncover its nature while battling monsters and facing her own inner demons. The world around her is covered in a deadly fog, and players must rely on a fog bracelet that glows red when danger is near.
Silly Polly Beast combines exploration with intense combat. Battles shift between side-view and top-down perspectives, giving the game a unique feel. Players will also gain access to forbidden knowledge and powerful spells as the story progresses, making Polly stronger but also more dangerous.
According to its description, not all characters in the otherworldly realm are enemies, but none are true allies either. Choices and events will test the player’s resolve as they guide Polly through her struggle for freedom.
The game is described as story-driven, with fast-paced gunfights, dark settings, and monsters designed to unsettle players. It blends survival elements with psychological themes, raising questions about sacrifice, fear, and what one must do to escape.
