Capcom has confirmed that Resident Evil Requiem will release on Nintendo Switch 2 along with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 27, 2026.
The announcement was made during the latest Nintendo Direct, where the game also received a new story trailer. The trailer gives a closer look at the horror elements, new characters, and fresh locations players will explore.
Resident Evil Requiem is set around 30 years after the Raccoon City outbreak. The story follows Grace Ashcroft, a young FBI analyst, who is sent to investigate the mysterious Wrenwood Hotel. She must survive terrifying encounters, uncover dark secrets, and face the painful memories of her mother Alyssa Ashcroft’s death.
With its mix of new antagonists, weapons, and survival challenges, Resident Evil Requiem aims to bring a fresh chapter in the franchise while keeping the classic horror roots alive.
The game will be available on Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam) starting February 27, 2026.
