HTC has also announced its big screen smartphone HTC J Butterfly 5 in Japan. This smartphone features a bigger 5 inch Super LCD 3 display with 1920 x 1080p full HD resolution.

This smartphone features nice hardware and software specifications. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm S4 Pro processor with 2 GB RAM and comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system on board.

HTC J Butterfly 5 comes with 16 GB internal storage along with a microSD card slot for storage expansion. It features a 8 megapixel camera at the back of the device along with a 2 megapixel camera at the front of the device. It is also packed with 2020 mAh battery.

Connectivity options of smartphone include HDMI out, microUSB, Infrared, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC. It supports LTE and is waterproof, dustproof.

HTC J Butterfly will go on sale in Japan by the end of the year. It is also expected that the smartphone will be a Japan Specific model and will be launched in other countries if it will get success.  But nothing about the worldwide released is known. It will be available in three colors: red, black and white.
