Apple has launched a special edition of the AirPods 5 in India ahead of Diwali 2026. The new version features rangoli-inspired engraving which gives the wireless earbuds a festive design. It is an India-exclusive edition and will be available in limited quantities through Apple’s online store and select retail stores.
The Special Edition AirPods 5 comes with a Wireless Charging Case featuring custom engraving inspired by rangoli, a traditional Indian art form often seen during Diwali. Apple has also added the same design to the product box. However, the special edition does not bring any hardware or feature upgrades over the regular AirPods 5.
Apple has listed the special edition at Rs 17,900, the same price as the regular model. Apple says the special edition AirPods 5 is available in limited quantities. Buyers can look for it on the Apple Store Online and through the Apple Store app. It will also be available at six retail locations in India: Apple BKC and Apple Borivali in Mumbai, Apple Saket and Apple Noida in Delhi NCR, Apple Hebbal in Bengaluru, and Apple Koregaon Park in Pune.
The AirPods 5 launched in India last month alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series. The earbuds include Active Noise Cancellation, Adaptive Audio, an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, and stem-based volume controls. The special edition retains these features, with the engraving being its main difference.
Alongside the special edition AirPods, Apple has announced its festive shopping campaign in India. The offers run from October 11 to November 11, 2026, and include instant cashback of up to Rs 15,000 on select products when customers use eligible bank cards.
Apple is also offering up to 12 months of no-cost EMI on select iPhones, Macs and iPads, including the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Buyers can get six months of no-cost EMI on Apple Watch models, AirPods and accessories. The actual benefits depend on the eligible product and payment method.
The campaign also includes free engraving on eligible AirPods, iPads, AirTags and Apple Pencils. Customers can explore trade-in options through Apple’s “Shop with a Specialist over Video” service. Apple is also offering free online setup for new devices, express delivery on in-stock products, and store pickup.
