Options traders often need multiple tools to analyse a strategy before placing a trade. Shoonya wants to reduce that dependency with FnO Edge, a new options trading toolkit that brings analysis, strategy building, risk assessment and execution into one place.

FnO Edge is now integrated into Shoonya Pro and is available free to all Shoonya users. The toolkit is designed for manual trading and does not support algorithmic or automated trading.

FnO Edge starts with an advanced option chain offering real-time data, implied volatility, volume, filters, and strike comparisons. Traders can then build custom multi-leg strategies or use templates for popular setups such as Bull Call Spreads, Iron Condors, Straddles, Butterflies, and Calendar Spreads.

Once a strategy is created, an interactive payoff graph shows potential profit and loss across different underlying prices, including breakeven points and maximum profit or loss.

The platform also provides Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega and Rho, along with scenario analysis. Traders can change the underlying price, implied volatility and time to expiry to see how the strategy could behave under different market conditions.

After finalising a strategy, its individual legs can be added to a basket and placed together. Traders can review the combined premium, quantities and risk metrics before submitting the order.

FnO Edge is an interesting addition because it puts several tools that options traders commonly use separately into the same workflow. The free availability also makes it more accessible to Shoonya users who want to analyse multi-leg strategies without switching between platforms.

That does not make options trading safer or remove the risk of losses. However, having payoff charts, Greeks and scenario analysis available before execution can help traders better understand the position they are about to take.

For Shoonya, FnO Edge is less about adding another trading feature and more about making the platform a complete workspace for options traders.
