Lenovo has launched its new Legion 5i, Legion 5a, and LOQ 15AHP11 gaming laptops in India. The new models are part of the company’s Gen 11 lineup and come with the latest Intel and AMD processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs, and Lenovo AI Engine+.
The new laptops are aimed at gamers looking for high-performance hardware, while also offering features for multitasking and creative workloads.
Lenovo Legion 5i
It has a 15.3-inch WQXGA OLED display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 165Hz refresh rate, and up to 500 nits brightness.
The Lenovo Legion 5i is the most powerful model among the three. It comes with up to Intel Core Ultra 9 Series and Core Ultra 7 Series processors, paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs. The laptop can be configured with up to 32GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD.
The laptop uses Lenovo AI Engine+ with dual LA1 and LA3 AI Core chips. The system can detect the workload and automatically adjust CPU, GPU, and other system settings. Lenovo says this helps optimize performance in Balance and Performance modes.
Other features include Legion Coldfront: Hyper cooling, an 80Wh battery with Rapid Charge Pro, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. It weighs around 1.87kg and comes in an Eclipse Black finish with a swappable rear cover.
Lenovo Legion 5a
The Legion 5a features the same 15.3-inch WQXGA OLED panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and 500 nits brightness.
The Legion 5a is the AMD-powered option in the new lineup. It comes with the AMD Ryzen 7 250 processor from the Ryzen 200 Series and can be configured with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5050 Laptop GPU. It supports up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and 2TB PCIe Gen 4 storage.
Lenovo AI Engine+ is also included, but this model uses a single LA1 AI Core chip. It automatically adjusts system parameters based on the workload. Lenovo says the AI tuning is designed to improve high-FPS gaming and multitasking performance.
The laptop also gets Legion Coldfront: Hyper cooling, an 80Wh battery, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4. It weighs around 1.87kg.
Lenovo LOQ 15AHP11
The LOQ 15AHP11 has a 15.3-inch display with options including a WQXGA 180Hz IPS panel and a WUXGA 165Hz IPS LCD panel.
The more affordable Lenovo LOQ 15AHP11 also uses AMD Ryzen 200 Series processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs. It supports up to 32GB DDR5 RAM and 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD storage.
It comes with the AMD Ryzen 7 250 processor and can be configured with the RTX 5060 or RTX 5050 Laptop GPU. It also has an LA1 AI Core chip with Lenovo AI Engine+.
Lenovo says the AI-based system tuning can help reduce frame drops and lag spikes during gaming.
The laptop gets Hyperchamber Cooling and a 60Wh battery with Rapid Charge Pro. It weighs around 2.1kg and comes in a Luna Grey finish.
RTX 50 Series GPUs and AI features
All three laptops use NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs based on the Blackwell architecture. They support NVIDIA DLSS 4 and Reflex 2 for gaming, along with NVIDIA Studio features for creative and rendering workloads.
The available GPU options include the GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU with up to 572 AI TOPS and the GeForce RTX 5050 Laptop GPU with up to 440 AI TOPS.
Lenovo has also equipped the new models with PureSight OLED display options and upgraded cooling systems designed to keep operating noise under control.
Support and protection
Lenovo is offering Legion Ultimate Support with the new Gen 11 laptops. It provides 24/7 technical support through phone, chat, and email. Customers also get mail-in or hands-on repair support at no additional cost.
Lenovo Accidental Damage Protection is also available and covers damage caused by incidents such as liquid spills, accidental drops, and electrical surges.
Price and availability in India
The Lenovo Legion 5i (15-inch, Gen 11) is priced at Rs. 2,65,990, while the Legion 5a starts at Rs. 2,25,990. The Lenovo LOQ 15AHP11 is priced at Rs. 1,99,990.
The new gaming laptops are available through Lenovo’s online store, exclusive Lenovo brand stores, and select retail outlets across India. CTO configurations will be delivered within 15 to 20 days.
