Apple is changing its iCloud+ offering in India by adding Apple TV and Apple Arcade to the subscription at no additional cost. The expanded iCloud+ plans will start rolling out in India this month as part of Apple’s wider expansion across more than 100 countries and regions.
The move gives iCloud+ subscribers access to Apple’s streaming service and gaming subscription alongside their existing cloud storage and privacy features.
As part of the updated iCloud+ offering, subscribers in India will get access to Apple TV. The service includes Apple Original series, films, documentaries and content for children and families, with new releases added every week.
The catalog includes shows such as The Studio, Ted Lasso, Severance and Pluribus. Apple also offers films such as CODA and F1.
Apple says its Apple Original films, documentaries and series have received more than 900 wins and over 3,800 award nominations since the service launched in November 2019.
Apple TV is available across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV 4K, supported smart TVs, gaming consoles and the web.
iCloud+ subscribers will also get unlimited access to Apple Arcade, which currently offers more than 200 games. The catalog includes Football Manager 26 Touch, NBA 2K26 Arcade Edition, Madden NFL 27 Arcade Edition, Hello Kitty Island Adventure, Sneaky Sasquatch and Angry Birds Reloaded. Other titles include Cooking Mama: Cuisine!, Block Blast+, Subway Surfers+ and Ultimate 8 Ball Pool+.
Apple Arcade games do not include ads or in-app purchases. They also support offline play and are available on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV 4K.
Apple is also giving iCloud+ subscribers access to Apple Music Select. It offers a collection of ad-free stations programmed by Apple Music.
The selection includes regional music along with stations such as Top Songs, 80s and 90s. Users can access these stations from the Home tab in the Apple Music app.
Those who want the full Apple Music subscription can continue to subscribe separately. In India, the Individual plan costs Rs. 115 per month, while the Family plan costs Rs. 145 per month. The full subscription includes on-demand music, Spatial Audio, Lyrics Translation, AutoMix, editorial playlists and exclusive content.
Apple’s iCloud+ service continues to include cloud storage along with privacy and other features. Users can also create events through Apple Invites and share their iCloud+ plan with up to five family members through Family Sharing.
The iCloud+ plan starts at Rs. 75 per month for 50GB in India. Higher storage options are also available. Users can manage their iCloud+ subscription from the Settings app on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision Pro.
The addition of Apple TV and Apple Arcade also changes how these services are offered in India. Apple will no longer offer Apple TV and Apple Arcade as separate subscriptions directly to customers in India. Existing individual subscribers will continue to have access through iCloud+, while their current individual subscriptions will be cancelled.
Apple says Apple Arcade game progress and saved data will be preserved during the transition.
Apple One is also no longer available to new subscribers in India. Existing Apple One subscribers will continue to have access to their current subscription.
Apple is also extending the new offering to eligible Airtel customers. iPhone users on eligible Airtel postpaid plans can access iCloud+ with Apple TV and Apple Arcade. Customers who already receive Apple TV through select Airtel postpaid plans can move to the new iCloud+ offering with Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost.
The expanded iCloud+ offering will roll out through the end of September across more than 100 countries and regions, including India, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Türkiye and the UAE.
