POCO has confirmed the India launch of the POCO X8 Power 5G, its upcoming smartphone focused on delivering long battery life. The company has revealed that the phone will debut in India on September 4 at 12 PM IST.
The launch confirmation comes through promotional material shared by POCO in partnership with Flipkart. The company is expected to announce the official price, complete specifications and sale offers during the launch event.
The most notable highlight of the POCO X8 Power 5G is its 10,000mAh battery. POCO claims that the battery can provide up to around 3.5 days of usage on a single charge.
The large battery is paired with a design that follows POCO’s familiar styling. The teaser shows the phone in a dual-tone yellow finish with a clean rear panel. It has a squircle-shaped camera module housing two rear cameras.
The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel is also rated to reach up to 3,500 nits of peak brightness, which should help with outdoor visibility.
It will use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 Mobile Platform. It will be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and fast storage.
The phone will have a 50-megapixel primary rear camera with OIS. It will be accompanied by an ultra-wide camera, while the front camera will offer a high-resolution sensor for selfies and video calls.
POCO will reveal the official price and complete specifications of the X8 Power 5G at the September 4 launch event. The company will also announce introductory offers for buyers.
The launch event will begin at 12 PM IST on September 4, with the smartphone expected to be available through Flipkart.
