Xbox has announced three games for this week’s Free Play Days promotion, with the Gears of War E-Day open beta being the biggest highlight.

Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play Gears of War E-Day’s multiplayer beta throughout the weekend. The beta includes the new 12-player Horde Siege co-op mode and a 4v4 Versus PvP mode.

The beta is available on Xbox Series X|S and PC. Players can also unlock rewards that will carry over to the full game.

The Free Play Days lineup also includes Sunderfolk and Asdivine Cross.

Sunderfolk is a tactical RPG designed around the feel of a tabletop game. Up to four players can team up, choose from six different classes and defend the village of Arden. The game uses a companion app that lets players use their phones as controllers.

Asdivine Cross is a 2D turn-based RPG aimed at fans of classic JRPGs. It follows Harvey, an outlaw who meets a princess during a jailbreak. The two then become involved in a journey to prevent a war.

Asdivine Cross is available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows, while Sunderfolk is available on Xbox Series X|S.

All three games require an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Premium or Essential subscription.

The Free Play Days promotion is available until Sunday, August 17 at 11:59 PM PT.

To find the games on an Xbox console, open the Microsoft Store, go to Home, and then select the Subscriptions section. The available Free Play Days games will appear there.

For players interested in Gears of War E-Day, this is also the first chance to try its new multiplayer modes before the full game arrives.
