Spotify has started rolling out a small but useful update that many users have been asking for over the years. The company now lets users pin up to 20 items at the top of Your Library, making it much easier to keep your favourite content within reach.

Previously, Spotify only allowed users to pin four items. That limit often felt too restrictive, especially for people who regularly switch between playlists, podcasts, albums, and audiobooks.

With the latest update, users can now pin playlists, albums, artists, podcasts, audiobooks, and creators. This gives much more flexibility and helps keep frequently used content at the top of the library.

The update is especially useful for users who have multiple playlists for different moods, follow several podcasts, or are listening to an audiobook while also keeping up with their favourite artists. Instead of searching through the library every time, everything important can now stay pinned at the top.

Pinning an item is simple. Just press and hold any item in Your Library and tap Pin. The selected item will remain at the top until you decide to unpin it.

While this may not be the biggest feature Spotify has ever introduced, it is one of those quality-of-life improvements that users have requested for a long time. The response to Spotify’s announcement has been largely positive, with many users saying the previous four-item limit was simply not enough.
