Xiaomi has announced the new REDMI Note 17 Pro in China. The smartphone comes with a large 9000mAh battery, a 120Hz AMOLED display, Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor, and IP69K durability rating.
The REDMI Note 17 Pro features a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It offers up to 3200 nits peak brightness, 12-bit color depth, HDR10+, DC dimming, and 3840Hz PWM dimming for better eye comfort.
The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 4nm processor with Adreno GPU. It is available with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB storage. The device runs Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3.
It has a 50MP primary camera along with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it gets an 8MP selfie camera. Both front and rear cameras support up to 1080p video recording.
The phone also features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, an infrared sensor, and USB Type-C audio.
The phone packs a massive 9000mAh battery. It supports 67W fast charging and 22.5W wired reverse charging, allowing users to charge other devices.
The REDMI Note 17 Pro comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. This means the phone is protected against dust, water immersion, and high-pressure water jets.
The device measures 8.46mm thick and weighs 226g.
Xiaomi is also introducing a five-year battery protection program for first-time buyers in China. If the battery health drops below 80% during the first four years, Xiaomi will replace the battery free of cost. If the battery health falls below 80% in the fifth year, the company will provide a free upgrade to a higher-capacity battery.

The REDMI Note 17 Pro comes in Sky Blue, Nebula Purple, Black, and White colors.

- 8GB + 256GB: 1,899 yuan
- 12GB + 256GB: 2,199 yuan
- 8GB + 512GB: 2,299 yuan
