Nothing has confirmed that the upcoming Nothing Phone (4b) will launch in India and global markets on July 7. The company had already revealed that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon chipset. Now, it has also teased a special RCB themed edition of the phone through a new video.
The video shows players of Royal Challengers Bengaluru reviewing early concept designs of the upcoming device on a laptop. In the clip, they are asked to choose between two design directions that made it into production. The players select the left option, which is described as a matte red finish.
The reveal strongly hints at a dedicated RCB edition of the Phone (4b), developed in collaboration with the IPL franchise. The final frame of the video also highlights Nothing as a title sponsor, along with the official RCB branding.
The design language of this special edition appears to move away from Nothing’s usual transparent and monochrome style. Instead, the device is expected to feature a matte red finish inspired by RCB’s team colours. The branding placement and logo size on the back panel also seem to be part of the design discussions shown in the video.
The RCB edition is likely to include custom packaging and themed software elements. Limited availability is also expected, although Nothing has not confirmed production numbers yet.
The company has also opened a registration page on its official website, nothing.tech, where users can sign up to get updates about the launch and availability.
The Nothing Phone (4b) is set to officially launch on July 7.
