Lava has launched the Lava Virat V1 5G and Lava Virat V1 in India. The new smartphones are part of Lava’s online-first lineup and have been developed in partnership with Flipkart. With these devices, the company aims to attract students, young professionals, and budget-conscious buyers looking for affordable smartphones.

The Lava Virat V1 5G comes with a 6.75-inch HD+ display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate, while the standard Virat V1 offers the same screen size with a 90Hz refresh rate.

The 5G model is powered by the UNISOC T8200 processor, while the 4G variant runs on the UNISOC SC9863A chipset. Both phones feature 4GB RAM with support for 4GB virtual RAM and 64GB storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB using a microSD card.

The Lava Virat V1 5G runs Android 16, while the Virat V1 comes with Android 15 Go Edition. Lava says both phones offer a clean software experience without ads or bloatware.

Both smartphones feature a 13MP AI dual rear camera and a 5MP front camera.

The Virat V1 5G packs a 6000mAh battery, while the Virat V1 gets a 5000mAh battery. Both devices ship with a 10W charger in the box.

These phones are IP64 rated for dust and splash resistance.

Price and Availability

The Lava Virat V1 series will go on sale from July 31, 2026, at 12 PM through Flipkart and Lava’s official website.

Launch pricing is as follows:

  • Lava Virat V1 5G: ₹11,999 (Launch Day Price), Regular Price: ₹12,999
  • Lava Virat V1: ₹8,999 (Launch Day Price), Regular Price: ₹9,999

The special launch prices will be available only on July 31.

Lava is also extending its Free Service@Home program to buyers of both smartphones. The service offers doorstep support and repairs, making after-sales service more convenient for users across India.
