Google has already confirmed that the Pixel 11 series will launch globally on August 12, 2026. The company has now revealed that pre-orders for the Pixel 11 series in India will also begin on the same day, giving Indian buyers an early chance to reserve the upcoming Pixel smartphones.
The Pixel 11 series launch event will take place in New York City, where Google is expected to introduce the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, and Pixel 11 Pro XL. The company will livestream the event through the Google Store website and YouTube.
Following the launch, the Pixel 11 series is expected to start shipping in India from August 20, 2026.
Google has opened registrations for interested buyers on its official India online store. Customers who sign up on or before August 8, 2026, at 12:29 PM IST, will receive a promotional code.
This code will provide an exclusive offer on eligible Pixel Buds or Pixel Watch accessories when purchased together with a new Pixel 11 series smartphone. Google has mentioned that promotional codes will expire two weeks after they are issued and will be available only while stocks last.
The company has not revealed the exact pre-order offers or pricing details yet. More information is expected during the launch event.
Ahead of the official launch, Google shared a teaser for the Pixel 11 Pro. The teaser shows a redesigned camera module with a slightly smaller camera deco compared to the previous generation. The teaser carries the tagline “The next obvious move,” hinting at design and camera improvements coming with the new Pixel lineup.
Based on leaked renders, the Pixel 11 Pro is expected to arrive in four color options: Midnight, Fog, Pine, and Dune. The Fog color is expected to feature a light gray-blue finish, while Pine could bring a green shade to the lineup.
According to recent leaks, the Pixel 11 series is expected to feature Google’s next-generation Tensor chipset, which could bring improvements in AI processing, performance, and power efficiency. Google has continued to focus heavily on on-device AI features, and the new Tensor chip is expected to further enhance features related to photography, voice processing, and generative AI.
The Pixel 11 Pro models are expected to continue using premium OLED displays with high refresh rates. The camera system is also expected to receive improvements, with Google likely focusing on better computational photography, improved low-light performance, and enhanced video capabilities.
The Pixel 11 series is also expected to ship with the latest version of Android, bringing new software features and longer software support, which has been one of the biggest advantages of Pixel phones.
More details about specifications, pricing, and availability will be officially confirmed during Google’s August 12 launch event.
