Playground Games has rolled out a new update for Forza Horizon 6, bringing version 398.92.0 to Xbox Series X|S, the Xbox app on Windows PC, and Steam. The update mainly focuses on fixing bugs, closing gameplay exploits, and improving the overall experience. One of the biggest changes is the complete reset of the game’s Rivals Leaderboards.

The Rivals Leaderboards have been reset to remove scores that were achieved using glitches and exploits. According to Playground Games, some players were posting unrealistic lap times by taking advantage of game bugs and Drag Tires. The studio had already introduced physics balancing changes in the June 15 update to reduce these exploits, and the leaderboard reset ensures that future rankings reflect those improvements.

While the reset also removes legitimate leaderboard entries, Playground Games confirmed that players will not lose any Collection Journal rewards they had already earned. The developer also plans to reset the PR Stunts Leaderboards after fixing the remaining exploits affecting those events, although it has not shared a release timeline.

The update also fixes an AI-related issue that caused excessive collisions during gameplay. Many players had reported strange AI behavior, and the latest patch is expected to resolve the problem.

Several vehicle-related bugs have also been addressed. The 1995 Toyota MR2 GT no longer comes to a complete stop after hitting kerbs, and Treasure Cars can no longer be accidentally deleted from the My Cars garage. Players who previously lost a Treasure Car because of this issue can contact Forza Support to recover it.

Playground Games also shared an update on the save data issue that affected some players. Xbox has released fixes for Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC, with the latest improvements arriving on July 2. Players who experienced data loss should now see a save conflict prompt when launching the game, allowing them to restore their latest cloud save.

Apart from these changes, the update includes several bug fixes related to gameplay, visuals, and audio to improve overall stability.
