Activision and Infinity Ward have officially announced the beta schedule for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. Players who pre-order the game will get early access to the beta before it opens to everyone later in August.
The Early Access beta will run from August 21 to August 25. It will be available for players who pre-order the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The Open Beta will begin on August 28 and continue until September 1. Unlike the early access phase, this beta will be available to all players. It will support PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
On the same day the early beta starts, Activision will also host Call of Duty: NEXT. The event will feature live gameplay, a detailed multiplayer presentation, and reveal more information about the game before the wider beta begins.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is scheduled to launch on October 23 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. The PC version will be available through Steam, Battle.net, and the Microsoft Store.
Pre-orders are already live on most platforms. However, Nintendo Switch 2 users will have to wait until August 26, when pre-orders go live for the platform.
