Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 later this year. Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer Saber Interactive have officially announced that the popular third-person action game will launch on Nintendo’s new console during the holiday season.
The game originally launched on September 9, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Since its release, it has attracted millions of players and become one of the most successful Warhammer games in recent years.
In Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II, players take on the role of Lieutenant Demetrian Titus and battle massive hordes of enemies in intense third-person combat. The game features fast-paced action with hundreds of enemies appearing on screen at once, delivering large-scale battles set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
Players can experience the campaign solo or team up with up to two other players in three-player cooperative mode. In addition to the story campaign, the game also includes player-versus-environment and player-versus-player modes that offer additional challenges and replayability.
The Switch 2 version will allow players to customize their Space Marines with different perks, weapons, and appearances across seven playable classes. Saber Interactive also highlighted the game’s long-term support, with more than two years of post-launch content planned, including new missions, game modes, and challenges.
According to the developers, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine II has already attracted over 12 million players worldwide. The upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 release will bring the brutal action experience to an even larger audience.
