Microsoft has announced a new lineup of games for its Xbox Free Play Days promotion. This week’s selection includes State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition, Blasphemous 2, and Hell Let Loose, giving Xbox players a chance to try these games for free over the weekend.
Unlike some previous Free Play Days events, two of the games in this week’s lineup are available to all Xbox players without requiring an Xbox Game Pass subscription.
Leading the lineup is State of Decay 2: Juggernaut Edition. Developed by Undead Labs, the game combines zombie survival with community management. Players must choose a map, establish a base, gather resources, and protect their community from growing zombie threats. The game also supports cooperative multiplayer, allowing friends to survive together. Microsoft is already working on State of Decay 3, which is expected to launch in 2027.
Also available is Blasphemous 2, the critically acclaimed action-platformer from Team17. The game follows The Penitent One on a new journey filled with challenging enemies, deadly traps, and demanding platforming sections. Players can use different weapons and abilities to overcome difficult encounters. However, the free trial comes with a five-hour playtime limit.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Standard, and Core members can also try Hell Let Loose. Set during World War II, the multiplayer first-person shooter features large-scale 50-versus-50 battles across expansive maps. Players can fight as infantry soldiers or operate tanks and artillery as part of coordinated team-based combat.

Xbox users can access the Free Play Days collection by opening the Microsoft Store on their console, navigating to the Home section in the sidebar, and selecting the Subscriptions tab.
This week’s Free Play Days event will remain available until June 14 at 11:59 PM PT.
