Lava has launched a new budget smartphone in India called the Smart 4 Plus. It is part of the company’s Smart series and comes after the recent launch of the Bold N2. The new phone focuses on a large display, a big battery, and a clean Android experience.
Lava Smart 4 Plus features a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen has a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels.
The phone is powered by the UNISOC 9863A processor. It comes with 4GB RAM and an additional 4GB virtual RAM support through RAM expansion. The phone offers 64GB internal storage and supports microSD card expansion up to 512GB.
The device runs on Android 15 Go Edition, which is made for budget smartphones. It is lighter and optimized for smoother performance on entry-level hardware.
The Lava Smart 4 Plus has a 13MP rear camera along with a secondary AI sensor. It supports features like HDR, portrait mode, and night mode. On the front, there is a 5MP selfie camera.
Other features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, 3.5mm headphone jack, FM radio, and a bottom-firing speaker. Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C.
The phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging support through USB Type-C. Lava claims the battery is designed to last through a full day of normal use.
The Lava Smart 4 Plus is priced at Rs. 9,999 and will be available through financial schemes across all offline retailers and service providers.
