Publisher and developer Saber Interactive and developer IO Interactive have officially announced HITMAN Classic Trilogy Remastered for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The collection is scheduled to launch in 2027.

The remastered collection brings together the first three games in the iconic stealth franchise, including HITMAN: Codename 47, HITMAN 2: Silent Assassin, and HITMAN: Contracts.

According to Saber Interactive, the collection has been rebuilt for modern platforms while preserving the gameplay systems, atmosphere, and player freedom that helped establish the HITMAN series. Players will once again step into the shoes of Agent 47 and complete assassination contracts using stealth, disguises, environmental interactions, and creative problem-solving.

The game also comes with visual overhauls. The remaster features upgraded character models, enhanced environments, and higher-resolution textures across all three games. Players will also be able to switch instantly between the original graphics and the enhanced visuals, making it easy to compare the classic and remastered versions.

The collection also introduces a dedicated Photo Mode, allowing players to capture screenshots of missions and environments during gameplay.

As with the original games, missions are designed to support multiple approaches. Players can use disguises, create distractions, set traps, or improvise when plans go wrong. The developers say every mission offers different paths and opportunities, encouraging experimentation and replayability.

The trilogy also highlights the evolution of the HITMAN franchise. Players can experience how the series progressed from the open-ended design of Codename 47 to the refined stealth mechanics of Silent Assassin and the darker, more psychological tone of Contracts.
