Microsoft and The Coalition have revealed the official PC system requirements for Gears of War: E-Day. The game is scheduled to launch on October 6, 2026, for Xbox Series X|S and PC. Players who purchase the Premium Edition will get access starting October 1.

The studio has also confirmed support for unlocked frame rates, ultra-wide monitors (21:9 and 32:9), 4K Ultra HD resolution, HDR10, and ray tracing. Players can use either a keyboard and mouse or a controller. The game is also being optimized for Steam Deck, Xbox Ally, and Xbox Ally X handheld devices.

One of the biggest requirements is storage space. Gears of War: E-Day will require 130GB of free storage, and an SSD is mandatory for the game.

The hardware requirements suggest that most gamers with a modern mid-range gaming PC should be able to run the game. At the same time, support for ray tracing, HDR10, and 4K resolution means players with more powerful hardware will be able to enjoy better visuals when the game launches later this year.
