Age of Empires Mobile: PC Edition has officially launched on Steam and the Microsoft Store. The game brings the popular mobile strategy experience to PC with improved visuals, better controls, and cross-platform support.

The game was originally launched on mobile devices in October 2024 and quickly gained millions of players worldwide. With the new PC Edition, players can now enjoy the same kingdom-building strategy gameplay on a larger screen with more precise controls.

The PC version has been optimized for desktop gameplay. It includes full mouse support and keyboard navigation for smoother control during battles and city building. The interface has also been redesigned to better fit larger monitors. Graphics have been enhanced with support for up to 4K resolution for a more detailed visual experience.

It also brings crossplay support. Players can compete and interact with others across mobile, tablet, and PC platforms. The game also supports cross-progression, which allows players to continue their progress on any device without losing their data.

To transfer progress from mobile to PC, players need to link their accounts before logging in on the PC version. This is done through the in-game settings menu on mobile by binding the account and using the same login credentials on PC.

Age of Empires Mobile: PC Edition is also offering rewards for Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. The game is free to play, and eligible users can claim a bonus package by signing in with their Xbox account. The reward bundle includes items such as speed-ups, Empire Coins, resource chests, and a special player portrait frame.
