Developer Thunder Lotus Games has announced that 33 Immortals will officially leave Early Access and launch its full Version 1.0 on June 10. The game will be available on Xbox Series and PC through Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store. It will also continue to be available through Game Pass.
33 Immortals first entered Early Access in March 2025 on Xbox Series and PC via the Epic Games Store and Microsoft Store. Since then, Thunder Lotus Games has spent more than a year refining the experience based on player feedback and adding new content.
Since entering Early Access, 33 Immortals has attracted attention for its unusual premise of bringing together up to 33 players in a cooperative roguelike experience. The game has generally received positive feedback from players for its fast-paced multiplayer gameplay, distinctive hand-drawn visuals, and focus on large-scale teamwork. Its concept has helped it stand out in a genre that is typically focused on solo or small-group experiences.
According to creative director Stephan Logier, Version 1.0 represents the complete vision the studio had for the game. The full release will allow players to experience the entire journey from beginning to end, including content that was not available during the Early Access period.
One of the biggest additions in Version 1.0 is the game’s long-awaited final boss encounter. Players will finally be able to challenge the ultimate enemy and see the story through to its conclusion.
The full release will also include all three playable worlds. It will give players access to the complete progression path. Each world introduces its own enemies, mechanics, and challenges, expanding the cooperative experience significantly compared to the early versions of the game.
Thunder Lotus Games says the 1.0 update also brings balancing improvements, gameplay refinements, quality-of-life enhancements, and more customization options. These changes are aimed at making the overall experience smoother and more rewarding for both new and returning players.
