OPPO has launched its new flagship smartphone, the OPPO Find X9 Ultra, in India. This is a premium camera-focused flagship phone that promises to bring an advanced multi-camera system, high-end display, large battery, and flagship Snapdragon chipset.
The Find X9 Ultra is clearly designed for users who love photography and videography. OPPO is heavily focusing on the phone’s imaging capabilities and continuing its partnership with Hasselblad for colour tuning and portrait processing.
The design of the phone is inspired by Hasselblad’s X2D camera lineup. OPPO is using a leather-textured back panel and a large circular camera module on the rear. The device comes in Canyon Orange and Tundra Umber colour options.
There is also no compromise in durability. It features Crystal Shield Glass protection and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. OPPO also says the device has received Swiss SGS five-star certification for drop and shock resistance.

The smartphone features a quad rear camera system led by a 200MP main camera with a Sony Lytia-901 sensor, OIS, and 10-bit HDR support. It also includes a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view, a 200MP 3x telephoto camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 10x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom.
On the front, the phone features a 50MP selfie camera capable of recording up to 4K 60fps videos.
OPPO is also introducing its new LUMO optical zoom technology with the device. According to the company, the system improves image quality at 2x and 6x zoom levels by increasing pixel information and preserving more detail.
The phone also gets the latest Hasselblad Master Mode with support for ultra-high-resolution 8K photos, improved colour processing, and multiple film-inspired image profiles.
For video creators, the Find X9 Ultra supports 8K video recording at 30fps and 4K recording at 120fps in 10-bit Log format. OPPO has also added support for ACES colour management and custom 3D LUT imports, features usually aimed at professional video workflows.
Interestingly, OPPO has also partnered with Tilta for professional shooting accessories, including ND filters, focus handles, and HDMI output support.

It features a 6.82-inch Quad HD+ LTPO AMOLED display with 3168 × 1440 resolution and support for up to 144Hz refresh rate. The panel supports Dolby Vision, PWM dimming, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
The device packs a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 3nm processor paired with Adreno 840 GPU, 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs Android 16 with ColorOS 16.
The smartphone also includes stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1, an infrared sensor, and an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner. The device also supports dual-satellite communication for calls and messaging in areas without regular cellular coverage.
The Find X9 Ultra packs a large 7050mAh battery with support for 100W SUPERVOOC wired charging and 50W wireless charging. OPPO says the battery uses a new silicon-carbon anode material for improved energy density.
The OPPO Find X9 Ultra is priced at Rs. 1,69,999 for the single 12GB + 512GB variant. The optional OPPO teleconverter kit will be sold separately.
The smartphone is currently available for pre-order through the OPPO India online store, Amazon, Flipkart, and offline retail stores. Sales will begin on May 28.
As part of launch offers, OPPO is offering exchange bonuses, up to 24 months of no-cost EMI, instant cashback offers on select bank cards, and an assured buyback program. Customers pre-booking the device between May 14 and May 27 will also receive a premium gift box that includes OPPO Enco Air 5 Pro earbuds and a premium case.
