OPPO has launched the new OPPO Enco Air5 Pro TWS earbuds in India. The earbuds arrive as the latest addition to the company’s Enco audio lineup and bring upgrades in active noise cancellation, audio quality, and battery life compared to the previous generation.
The earbuds are equipped with 12mm dynamic drivers and support LHDC 5.0 Hi-Res Audio codec along with AAC and SBC audio codecs. OPPO says the earbuds support wireless transmission speeds of up to 1Mbps for higher-quality audio streaming on supported devices.
The OPPO Enco Air5 Pro features up to 55dB active noise cancellation with support for up to 5,000Hz noise reduction frequency range. This is an improvement over the earlier Enco Air4 Pro, which offered up to 49dB ANC and a 4,000Hz noise reduction range.
The Enco Air5 Pro also upgrades connectivity with Bluetooth 6.0 support and dual-device connectivity, allowing users to stay connected to two devices at the same time.
For calls, the earbuds feature a triple microphone setup with AI-powered noise reduction. OPPO says the system is designed to improve voice clarity during calls while reducing surrounding environmental noise. The earbuds also include a wind noise reduction algorithm that is claimed to improve call quality outdoors even in windy conditions.
The earbuds support multiple listening modes, including ANC mode, adaptive noise cancellation mode, transparency mode, and ANC off mode. Gamers also get a low-latency mode with 47ms latency.
OPPO claims the earbuds can deliver up to 13 hours of playback on a single charge with ANC turned off. Combined with the charging case, total battery life is rated at up to 54 hours. With ANC enabled, the battery life drops to up to 7 hours on the earbuds and up to 29 hours with the charging case.
The Enco Air5 Pro also comes with IP55 ratings for dust and water resistance, touch controls with swipe-based volume adjustment, and AI translation features. The earbuds weigh 4.4 grams each, while the charging case weighs 43 grams.
The OPPO Enco Air5 Pro comes in Pearl White and Matte Black colour options and is priced at Rs. 4,999 in India.
